Wyndham profit beats estimates

A report by Reuters

Wyndham Worldwide Corp posted a better-than-expected quarterly profit on Wednesday, helped by a strong performance and said it was tripling its quarterly dividend, sending shares 2.4 percent higher.

CASE in point?

Channel NewsAsia reported that the ranking of the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) handled cases revealed a tremendous increase in beauty – related complaints for the past two years but timeshare remains to be the most complained industry. Timeshare relief seekers are the top complainants of CASE probably because of the number of fraudulent companies engaged in the industry.

Police and timeshare regulators raided four UK offices of a Spanish timeshare, Incentive Leisure Group.

The Office of Fair Trading, which has coordinated with the investigation, claims that the investigation is still in its early stages and the allegations are yet to be proven.
