Orange County Resorts and Hotels Ltd., a public limited Company incorporated under the Company’s Act 1956, opened its first resort at Coorg in 1994.

A very unique timeshare plan in the offing . . .

Dr. R. K. Anand of DJB Group of Companies talks to us about a very unique project in India’s timeshare space – so unique, we wanted to know more about it. So, here’s Dr. Anand talking about this dream venture.

This could easily be India’s largest timeshare hospitality project, amalgamating the concepts of timeshare and pilgrim tourism – developed within the guidelines laid down by the Ministry of Tourism for timeshare resorts. The thinking behind our project revolves around the homing instinct of Indians abroad – and we want them to visit the Golden Temple as a planned get-away from their busy schedules.

Timeshare vacations that bring the whole family together . . .

I have always been fascinated by timeshare vacations that unite large families. In today’s world of busy schedules and hectic lifestyles, it is really nice if you can bring everybody together for good times, and more.

Timeshare is probably the only vacation format where you can bring together large families from different time zones and locations – at costs that are affordable. I once saw 18 people from three large families, having the time of their lives. All made possible if you can ask a good friend to share his unused week with you as buffer accommodation – that’s in addition to your own annual week. This is something you need to work out with the resort, in terms of extra rooms and actual availability – which needs persistence and planning.
