I always wanted to start a group, where people could network and eventually interact on the same page, based on common interests. A sharing group like this is what the timeshare industry needs – helping professionals share opportunities, industry updates, and offer feedback on queries posted.

The internet gives you many ways of networking, but facebook is probably the most popular watering hole on the web. Facebook also offers excellent search functionality – there’s a very high chance that we will show up whenever people search for groups linked to timeshare. From my point of view, this group will do several things. One: It will attract people working in the timeshare industry. Two: It will provide a neutral platform for the exchange of information, ideas and opportunities. Three: It will encourage people to post updates on jobs and consultancy openings. Eventually a lot more will happen out here.

Here’s the Content Team at AIRDA, wishing Rajeev, many more members
and a lot of constructive information sharing on the Timeshare Professionals Group.

One of the challenges of today’s world is to get the entire family on the same page of the calendar. We’re talking about wives, husbands and children who need to align and coordinate their free time – with a little give and take. It also means getting grandparents, uncles and aunts from different locations to wing their way to your holiday destination.

Every year we send out messages via our social media channels, reminding people that it’s a good time to plan your getaways for the year. Especially if they have a timeshare plan in place. “January” is a nice time for renewal, because the month brings in a newness that goes with making plans and resolutions. It also serves as a topical reminder for important things to do on your calendar.

So, here we are, once again, urging you to make time slots during the year for those well deserved breaks.

What I have learnt over the past few years is the need to give your family a nice vacation, at least once in the year. My job as a bank teller can be so monotonous and boring, that even a weekend break is welcome. Longer breaks are essential, because everybody needs time out to spend quality time with the family.

At the end of the day, you need to look beyond work and other daily routines, to get down to some serious planning. You also need some commitment to go along with that, to make things happen. So according to me, COMMITMENT is the key word.
